DIRECTIONS: Montrose (which is technically a part of north Glendale)
is located just off the 210 Freeway near the 2 Freeway.
If you are coming from the east, the directions are as follows:
- Take the 210 Freeway West (traveling north for much of it) to the Ocean View Blvd. exit.
- Take a left (south) on Ocean View Blvd. at the end of the off-ramp.
- Take a right (west) on Honolulu Avenue (which is the fifth signal after you exit the freeway).
If you are coming from the west or the north, the directions are as follows:
- Take the 210 Freeway East to the Ocean View Blvd. exit.
- Take a right (south) on Ocean View Blvd. at the end of the off-ramp.
- Take a right (west) on Honolulu Avenue (which is the fourth signal after you exit the
freeway).
If you are coming from the south, the directions are as follows:
- Take the 2 Freeway North to Verdugo Blvd. [The 2 Freeway gives you four choices
when it ends: (1) you can go left to the 210 West; (2) you can go straight to Foothill Blvd.;
(3) you can go slightly right to the 210 East; or (4) you can go in the direction to the right
heading toward the 210 East, then exit on Verdugo Blvd. on the extreme right hand side].
You will want to take the Verdugo Blvd. exit (all the way to the right).
- At the end of the off ramp at the signal, take a left (west) onto Verdugo Blvd.
- Keep going straight (west) on Verdugo Blvd. At the third signal, you will cross over the
intersection where Verdugo Blvd. goes to the left, Montrose goes to the right, and Honolulu
goes straight...you will keep going straight onto Honolulu Avenue (entering the Montrose
Shopping Village).
- In the block after you cross over Ocean View Blvd, you will see the front of the building
on Honolulu Avenue...
The front of the building is on Honolulu Avenue...it is a 2-story Spanish style building with a
courtyard; There is more PARKING available in the back of the building.
- To get to the back of the building, take a right (north) on Wickham Way
(which is the next main street).
- Take a right (east) on Florencita Avenue (which is the next street).
- There are three public parking lots off of Florencita Ave. (on the right hand side).
Park closer to the south side of the parking lots.
- Walk south across the alley, and look for the Spanish style building with green vine
on the fence. When you enter the building from the back, my office is on that level.
Look for Unit G on the right side.
There is also one parking spot available in the back of the building (Space G), but if it is taken,
the public parking is very close by. Also, once you've gotten your bearings, if you are driving
south on Ocean View Blvd., you may wish to turn west (right) on Florencita Avenue instead of turning
on Honolulu Avenue.
The office is directly upstairs from Jane's Cakes & Chocolates; the building is just west of
the Montrose Home Bakery and the Newsstand; it is just east of Montrose Travel; and it is
across the street from the retro Montrose Bowling Alley.
There is a little bell chime next to the interior office door. Press it HARD until you hear the chime.
